Well, a new year has started and we now have two new boards of Officers. I am really looking forward to working with both boards and I think it will be an exciting year. Our first meeting was a huge success, and we planned a joint function on June 27th. We will be having a Western Night with a BBQ and all the fixings, and of course, a band. June 13the is the Sweet Heart Ball at the Reseda Lodge, where I will be escorting our new Sweetheart, Kimmy, and Dano will be escorting our out-going Sweetheart, Marlene. Please try and be there to support our new Sweetheart. There will be great food and a band and lots of fun. Legion #163 will have a celebration at the Reseda Lodge on June 7th at 9am, breakfast will be served, and the District breakfast will be on June 28th at the Glendale Lodge. This is my last letter for two months as my Family and I are going on vacation. We will be leaving on or around June 22nd and retuning on or about August 17th.
