I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support this past year while I was Governor. I look forward to serving you and the the lodge as the Jr. Past Governor going forward. Being Governor last year was one of tremendous stress and pressure trying to make ends meet for the lodge. I know our economy has had a negative effect on many of you this past year and OUR lodge has felt the impact as well. This next year is going to be as challenging as the last year, if not more. I assure you the new board of Officers has yours, and the lodge's best interests at heart, and have already started talking about some of the things we are going to need to do, to try and be successful this next year. Let me ask for just a couple things if I may,m first and foremost, I ask that we all take a moment to remember why our became a Member for the Moose. Second, if you answered the first question correctly, I ask that you get involved with the lodge and do your part to help us survive our current economic storm. The bottom line is, we only have about 10-15% of our total Members that actually contribute to the lodge by hosting lodge events, and frankly it's just not enough to keep our boat a float. So PLEASE talk to your Sr. Regent (Marlene) and your Governor (Brown) and find our what you can personally do to help our children at Moose Heart, our Seniors at Moose Heaven, and support OUR lodge beyond all expectations. Again, thank you for your support; I look forward to seeing you at the lodge.
