Taco Tuesdays!

EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT:

INDIVIDUALLY COOKED TACOS - ONE DOLLAR EACH!!

Step 1 - Walk by the open kitchen door, peak in, and tell them how many:

Three is my number..

The tacos will take five or ten minutes to be cooked because the shells are individually pan fried like tortillas - that's what makes them so good!

After you tell them how many tacos you want; go walk around and socialize for a few minutes - say hello to the bartender, maybe order an orange juice, go wash your hands, pretend to check your text messages, whatever - it'll be 10 minutes. Oh, and rest assured, once the tacos are ready - one of the taco volunteers will magically find you wherever you are in the lodge and they will hand you your order in one of those cheapo red plastic restaurant baskets. That's because YOU get to build your own taco! So head on over to the dance floor area and go to that table that's full of bowls and bowls of taco stuff and bottles and bottles of sauces.

Step 2 - Load up with all the good stuff:
lettuce cheese Sour Cream Tomatoes Black Olives
salsa Onions

HILARIOUS LET US / LETTUCE PUN:

I'm not so sure if the taco volunteers are going to LETTUCE get away with posting this tip on the internet but here is the one and only secret to assembling a best ever taco at the Moose Lodge:

#1 - Don't just start building the taco by adding lettuce or whatever you normally add first - put the shredded cheese on first - right away and right on top of the meat. Do this the very moment you get your tacos (while they are fresh out and still hot) - that way the meat will MELT some of the shredded cheese a bit

Oh man! What could be better than that! You'll never load up a taco any other way ever again! Just remember: cheese first.

After the cheese - you can put all that other stuff. For me, it's salsa, sour cream, green onions, tomatoes, and a little lettuce - and then some more cheese on top of everything :)
